Michael Cascio

M ike is a financial professional with over 28 years of financial and business experience. Mike likes to say he was conceived in Florence and born in Brooklyn. Mike currently lives in New Hyde Park, Long Island along with his wife of 24 years, Stephanie, and their three children – Michael, Jr., Madison and Steven. When he’s not working at the office, Mike loves staying busy on projects around the house and hitting the gym to work out. He also loves spending time with his brothers, Mom, nieces, nephews – family and friends are the center of his world.

Mike graduated from Baruch College, City University of New York in May 1986 where he earned a B.B.A. in Accounting.

Experience – BDO Seidman from 1986 to 1990. Completed training program and received CPA. Clients included over 250 diversified individual and small business accounts in the fields of Medicine, Insurance, Contracting, Construction, Architecture, Real Estate and Securities.

Culbro Corporation from 1990 to 1992. Tax manager for Fortune 500 corporation.

Ramusevic, Cascio & Kaplan, CPAs commenced practice in 1992. Partner in charge of Taxation. Responsibilities include:

– Prepare and review individual, corporate and partnership returns.
– Develop and implement tax planning strategies.
– Represent clients before Federal and state taxing authorities.
– Prepare quarterly and year-end tax liability projections.
